The Wisdom of George Carlin...

...courtesy of my desk calendar. Yesterday's entry:

One of the more embarrassing strains of American thought is the liberal-humanist, touchy-feely, warm and fuzzy, New Age, enviromental-friendly pseudo wisdom that appears on bumper stickers: "Think Globally, Act Locally," and the most embarrassing, "Practice Random Kindness and Senseless Acts of Beauty." You know, if kindness and beauty require public reminders, maybe it's time we just throw in the jock.

Yepper.
